All Aboard The Chikan Express

Recently surfing on YouTube I came across a clip for the video game RapeLay (レイプレイ), a 3D eroge game made by a Yokohama based company called Illusion. The game has garnered international attention and controversy for its content.

I need to say upfront that I am surpised that a game like this exists. It is the epitome of untasteful, disrespectful and discriminatory! This post is by no means an endorsement but more an expression of sadness at discovering just how low leaches and opportunists in today’s society will go.

RapeLay is played from the perspective of a chikan named Kimura Masaya, who stalks the Kiryuu family (a mother, Yuuko and her two young daughters, Manako and Aoi) on a crowded train and features a realistic sexual simulator which allows the player to grope and undress the characters.

After reading that the game had a “nakadashi” (internal ejaculation) counter, which carries a danger of pregnancy, I couldn’t bring myself to write anymore. Because it gets worse. The game endorses rape as the player may have forced intercourse with all three women at his leisure.

What world do we live in when gamers can be funded to produce crap that is so far beyond the line of a reasonable person’s morals?
